President Lionel Frewin precided over the first club lunch of the season preceded by a drinks party as a thank you to the club's Vice Presidents
President Lionel said ‘Over twenty VP’s gathered together for a cocktail party before the Presidents lunch held at the club on Saturday 1st October. Drinks were held in the downstairs bar which was set out with an array of canapé’s which complemented the beer and prosecco on offer to the guests. We were joined by Director of Rugby Steve Pope who chatted to many of those present and by main board director, Nick Hyams. President Lionel Frewin handed out the newly designed VP’s lapel badge which were met with acclaim by all recipients.
This first event for VP’s will be followed by an exclusive VP lunch at the club on Saturday 28th Jan 2017 (re-scheduled from 18th Feb due to a clash with the Braemar Lunch). Details will go out to VP’s, by letter, within the next couple of weeks.
