A wonderful evening at the Club Summer Ball at the weekend. where everyone clearly enjoyed a great night out.
It was a really enjoyable party and celebration of the whole clubs achievements over the 2015-16 season, with a great representation across the whole club. Personally it was my first Cobham Ball but if Saturday night was anything to go by it will definitely not be my last!.
Our attention now turns to pre – season with Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions already underway, please see a number of key dates for the summer pre – season and pre – season friendly matches leading in to our first league fixtures on 3rd September.
Pre-season training dates
· Every Tuesday & Thursday in June at the Covenham Training Ground 7.30pm -9.00pm – conditioned touch for all, fairly relaxed but a really good chance to start getting skills up, blow the 'cob' webs out and some decent running in the legs. Ahead of the real hard work that starts in July, we are already a couple of sessions in so please do come down whatever your level of fitness or ability there will be a warm welcome for everyone.
· Wednesday nights there is also an even more relaxed game of touch going on – open to all members of the club with the a large group of the regular Vets, enjoying their normal Wednesday night touch run around , again open to all at the same time and venue.
· As of the Tuesday 5th of July we will be beginning our official senior squad training, again Tuesday & Thursday evenings at the Covenham training ground 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start please until 9.00pm. this will be considerably more demanding and structured …. Still fun and enjoyable but be warned we will be working harder than last pre-season so please come ready to work with everything you need for sessions. Boots & Moulded , Trainers, Water , gum shields , and a rugby jersey all of these for every session.

13th August – Letchworth RFC (Home)
20th August – Ruislip RFC (Home)
25th 26th 27th 28th 29th August – Haag pre – season trip
3rd September – First league fixtures
