Cobham Rugby

Next weekend

Update from Club Chairman Steve Heard

I saw many smiling faces last Sunday morning so I hope everyone enjoyed their first weekend of rugby!!!!

Well done to the 1st and 2nd teams for their good away wins on Saturday at Chiswick and Esher which gives the senior squad something to build on .

This week we have our first home league game at home to the Civil Service ( CS 1863) who had a very strong away win at Dover so it promises to be a tough game .Kick off  is at 3pm and all support is most welcome .

We have organised for our under 10s and under 6s to attend and play some inter club games at half time and the BBQ hut and bar will be open .

Long term members and ex players will remember many previous games against Civil service .The second team are away again this time to local rivals Chobham which I am sure will be a challenging encounter .We also welcome back the 3rd team who ease their way back into rugby with a tour to the foreign shores of the Isle of Wight .Enjoy !

On Sunday the minis ,girls and youth sections will continue their preparations for the festival ,cup and league action later in the month and as always the BBQ hut ,the shop and the bar will be open .We also have a second hand boot sale to replace boots at a small charge for the fast growing mini feet .

Hope to see many of you over the weekend
