Cobham Under 13s win Waterfall Cup final

Under 13s defeat Effingham and Leatherhead

Cobham won the Waterfall Cup on Sunday when they defeated Effingham and Leatherhead 19-14 The Waterfall cup is the premier cup competition for u13s in Surrey. It is for the 12 clubs in the premier division which is split into 2 halves - premier inner and premier outer. The 6 clubs in each division play a league system ( ie 5 games) in the first half of the season to decide their seeding for the cup. 
 
We lost our first game of the season to Battersea but followed that with victories against London Irish, Rosslyn Park and Old Alleynians to finish second in premier inner. 
 
In the Cup, Cobham beat Reeds 29-7 in the first round, Old Wimbledonians 36-0 in the quarter final before gaining revenge for their first day defeat by beating Battersea 38-17 in the semi final. 
 
On the same afternoon as the Under 17s progressed to the National Shield final it has been a great day for youth rugby at Cobham
